Le’Veon Bell may have trouble trusting people again.

The Associated Press is reporting that former Michigan State and NFL running back Le’Veon Bell told police in Hollywood, Florida that when he returned home from a trip to the gym on May 25, all of his jewelry was missing. Bell said the theft was by two female “acquaintances” who had left his home by the time he returned.

The total value of the stolen items was estimated to be $520,000. The items included two gold chains with diamonds, a black panther pendant with black and white diamonds and a Rolex.

Per the Associated Press, the police report refers to the female acquaintances as “girlfriends” of Bell.

Bell recently signed a four-year deal with the New York Jets worth $52 million, with $35 million guaranteed. He practiced with the team earlier this week.
