It looks like Maryland will be losing a key offensive lineman to a grad transfer.
It was reported Monday that center Johnny Jordan is entering the transfer portal and is looking to be a grad transfer. He was a member of the 2017 recruiting class.
Rainer Sabin with the Detroit Free Press shared the report:
Maryland senior center Johnny Jordan, who was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection this season, has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Will be a grad transfer.

Jordan had a strong career with the Terrapins, posting 12 starts at center from 2018-19. In 2020, Jordan earned an honorable All-B1G mention as Maryland won two games before seeing the season derailed with COVID-19 issues.
Unfortunately for Jordan and the rest of the Terrapins, seeing three regular-season games and the Champions Week matchup canceled due to virus issues severely limited what the team was able to show and accomplish. Maryland also declined to participate in the bowl season, should the Terps have received an offer.
Moving forward, it will be interesting to see where Jordan winds up. Best of luck as he continues his career at a new destination.
