Report: Michigan State linebacker enters NCAA transfer portal

Four games into the season, a Michigan State linebacker has decided to look for options outside of East Lansing to complete his college football career.
According to Rainer Sabin of the Detroit Free Press, Michigan State linebacker Brandon Bouyer-Randle has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. He would be leaving East Lansing as a graduate transfer and would be immediately eligible for the 2020 season.
Bouyer-Randle has participated in all four games this season with the Spartans, making five tackles with three solo stops.

Last season Bouyer-Randle played in all 13 games for the Spartans, making 21 tackles and 3.5 sacks. He also forced two fumbles on the year. In his career, the linebacker has recorded 31 tackles, six for loss and six quarterback hurries.
It is unclear what prompted the decision. There has been no confirmation from Michigan State, either.
Michigan State is preparing for its second B1G game of the season, hosting East foe Indiana on Saturday. The Spartans are 3-1 on the year and earned a 31-10 victory over Northwestern to open conference play.
