Maryland has canceled its game against Michigan State this weekend due to COVID-19.
That’s according to a report from Stadium’s Brett McMurphy.
Saturday’s Michigan State at Maryland game canceled because of COVID issues w/Maryland, sources told @Stadium. This is 15th game postponed or canceled this week, equalling number of games impacted last week

This is the second straight game Maryland has been forced to cancel due to the virus. The Terps missed their contest with Ohio State last week.
While this is disappointing, it’s not surprising. Maryland had been unable to practice all week while trying to control the spread of the virus.
Maryland has won its last two games behind huge performances from quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa.
If the Terps are able to play next week, it will be at Indiana.
All other Big Ten games for this week are currently expected to be played.
