Report: Michigan’s games against Maryland, Ohio State in serious jeopardy
The final two games on Michigan’s 2020 football schedule, including the regular season finale against Ohio State on Dec. 12, are in serious jeopardy according to a report.
On Wednesday afternoon, Chris Balas of TheWolverine.com cited a source in reporting that Michigan’s COVID-19 situation has “not gotten any better.” In his report, Balas suggests that there’s a strong possibility that the Wolverines won’t be able to return to the field until Champions Week.
Sources: Michigan football's situation has not gotten better on the COVID front. At this point, we'd bet heavily against games this week or next.

Michigan shut down team activities earlier this week out of an abundance of caution as it relates to COVID-19 testing issues. However, the school has kept quiet on the severity of the situation.
The Wolverines have already missed two days on the practice field, and there appears to be a chance that will extend into Wednesday, as well.
This week, Michigan is scheduled to take on Maryland and host Ohio State next weekend. If the Wolverines can’t play next week against the Buckeyes, it could be trouble for OSU’s College Football Playoff hopes.
Ohio State must play a minimum of six games to qualify for the B1G Championship Game. If either game against Michigan State or Michigan is canceled, the Buckeyes would not be permitted to play for a conference title.
