One of Minnesota’s best players on offense is expected to be back today against Miami (OH).
Chris Autman-Bell should make his debut after missing Week 1 against Ohio State due to a right leg injury. He went through warmups and also caught passes during pregame drills. He didn’t seem to have any setbacks during either of those.

Autman-Bell will be hoping to help Minnesota notch their first win of the season after the Week 1 setback. Minnesota was up 14-10 at halftime over the Buckeyes but then surrendered 35 2nd half points to lose the game.
He’s coming off one of the best seasons of his collegiate career in 2020 as he finished with 22 catches for 430 yards and 1 touchdown. He also averaged nearly 20 yards a catch. His best season before that came in 2018 as a freshman when he finished with 28 receptions for 449 yards. His longest catch that year went for 69 yards.
