Fred Hoiberg enters his third season as the head man of the Huskers. His first two years in Lincoln are ones to forget. Hoiberg is 13-42 overall and 4-32 in B1G play.
The Huskers hope to climb out of the B1G cellar this fall with key additions to the roster, including 5-star recruit Bryce McGowens, brother of teammate Trey McGowens, Alonzo Verge Jr. transfer from Arizona State, Wilhelm Breidenbach, C. J. Wilcher transfer from Xavier, and Keisei Tominaga.
The Huskers’ have finished last in the B1G both 2019 and 2020. The Huskers open the season vs. Western Illinois on Nov. 9.
