Nebraska may be without one of its top offensive linemen for the remainder of the season, according to a recent report.

Joe Nugent of WOWT-TV reported on Sunday that Teddy Prochazka suffered a “very serious knee injury” in Nebraska’s loss to Michigan on Saturday. The offensive lineman was injured during the game and did not return to action.

Prochazka made multiple starts along the offensive line for the Huskers this season. Losing him for the final five-game stretch would be a huge blow to Nebraska’s depth and skill at the position group.

Head coach Scott Frost is scheduled to speak with the media on Monday afternoon during his weekly press conference. There’s a chance more is learned about Prochazka’s status then.

Nebraska fell to 3-4 with a 32-29 loss to No. 9 Michigan over the weekend. The Huskers had opportunities to close out the upset victory, but a late turnover proved to be too costly to overcome.

This week, Nebraska hits the road for a B1G West matchup against Minnesota. The Golden Gophers are coming off a bye week and enter the game at 3-2.
