Report: New Orleans CB, former Ohio State star arrested

Former Ohio State star and current New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore has reportedly been arrested in his home city of Cleveland, according to a report.

Cleveland.com reports that Lattimore, 24, was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property. He has not been formally charged at the time of the report, but he was booked into the Cuyahoga County Jail. He was arrested by Cleveland police’s gang investigators late Thursday night.

No further details on the situation were released.

Lattimore was a first-round selection in the 2017 NFL Draft, selected No. 11 overall by the Saints. He’s spent all four seasons in the NFL in New Orleans and has been a three-time Pro Bowl selection (2017, 2019-2020). Lattimore was also the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year following the 2017 season.

In four seasons, Lattimore has totaled 230 tackles, 55 pass break-ups, 10 interceptions and forced 5 fumbles.

Lattimore suited up for Ohio State in 2015 and 2016, appearing in 16 career games with the Buckeyes. He left Columbus with 45 tackles, 11 pass break-ups, 4 interceptions and a defensive touchdown.
