It’s been a rough couple of days in Columbus.
On Monday, Letterman Row reported that Ohio State wide receiver Kamryn Babb suffered an ACL injury, putting his 2019 season in serious jeopardy. On Tuesday, Letterman Row also reported that linebacker Justin Hilliard has sustained an Achilles injury last week during spring practice.
Hilliard was primarily a participant on special teams last season and registered 20 tackles and one tackle for loss. He’s a former five-star prospect and was a member of the Buckeyes’ 2015 recruiting class.
Throughout his career, Hilliard has battled injuries and hasn’t had the opportunity to get into a rhythm since arriving in Columbus. There is a possibility that Hilliard could return at some point midway through the season, but that’s unknown at this time.
Both Hilliard and Babb are currently listed as “out indefinitely” according to Ohio State.
