The Pac-12 will require all testing and related protocols be met by the opposing team. Additionally, the conference is requiring the Pac-12 program to be the home team in all cases and for all games to be broadcast by a Pac-12 television partner, per the release.
The conference is trying to add more flexibility as the pandemic continues to ravish programs across the country. Meanwhile, the B1G has been steadfast about not allowing non-conference games. They denied a request from Nebraska earlier this season.
Arizona State’s contest vs. Colorado was already canceled this Saturday after two games were canceled last weekend.
There’s been a lot of moving parts in terms of scheduling during this unprecedented season. It’ll be curious to see how the college football season unfolds with all the potential adjustments the rest of the way.
