The November matchup between the Boilermakers and Rams will be the first time the two teams have played since VCU defeated Purdue in the 2011 NCAA Tournament. That year, the Rams made a run all the way to the Final Four.
On Nov. 30, Purdue will have a rematch against either Florida State or Tennessee, both of which were opponents for Matt Painter’s squad last season. The Boilers fell to the Seminoles in Tallahassee in the B1G-ACC Challenge. Purdue defeated the Volunteers in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.
