Published:

Not even two weeks ago, New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley suffered a high-ankle sprain.

The timetable for his return was six to eight weeks. Well, so much for that.

According to a report, Barkley has skipped, jogged, jumped and danced through a pre-practice session.

And on Thursday night, Barkley tweeted this:

The former Penn State star wasn’t supposed to be back this quickly. Granted, he hasn’t fully practiced yet. It’s not as though he is set to play Sunday, either. Though, he hasn’t been ruled out, either.

It looks as though Barkley will be back soon. Much sooner than people thought.

Barkley isn’t built like your average running back. People talked in awe of Adrian Peterson coming back very quickly from a torn ACL.

Barkley may be cut from the same cloth.
