Report: Security guard attempted to extort Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys RB won’t face charges from Vegas incident

The hot water that Ezekiel Elliott was in following an incident at a Las Vegas musical festival in May is back down to room temperature.
Over the weekend, it was reported by ESPN’s Todd Archer that Elliott will not face any charges or punishment after bumping a security guard at the Vegas music festival earlier this year. He will also not face any consequences from the NFL.
Elliott appeared to be arguing with a woman in a video published by TMZ Sports at the festival in May. When a security guard confronted the Cowboys running back, Elliott got into his face and appeared to bump the guard, who then fell over the railing.
Following the incident, Elliott was handcuffed but was not arrested or charged.

The security guard, who was later identified as Kyle Johnson, initially declined to press any charges on Elliott. However, according to TMZ, Johnson and his father sent Elliott an email requesting $500,000, a public apology, signed memorabilia and tickets to Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Buckeyes football games.
Elliott will be entering his fourth year in the NFL this season. He’s piled up over 4,000 yards and 28 rushing touchdowns in three seasons with the Cowboys.
