Warren is the son of Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren.
He has no stats at Mississippi State this season but before he went there, he was a two-star recruit out of Minnesota. He was considered the 140th ranked tight end nationally and the 35th ranked player in the state in 2017 when he was a recruit, according to 247Sports.
If Warren makes it official himself, it would be the 18th player who has transferred out of the Bulldogs this season.
