The landscape for the Peach Bowl National Semifinal has taken another shift.

The game is slated for next Saturday between LSU and Oklahoma, and the list of players suspended and injured is growing. This time, the Sooners are dealing with a reported injury.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that Oklahoma would be without three players, including the leading pass-rusher, due to a suspension. That is already a big blow for the Sooners, but another hit was delivered Friday.

According to Sooner Scoop, starting defensive back Delarrin Turner-Yell has sustained a broken collar bone that will keep him sidelined for the Peach Bowl.

Turner-Yell is Oklahoma’s second-leading tackler this season with 75 total tackles. He also has 5.5 for loss, three passes defended, and a forced fumble. Considering the Sooners are going up against Heisman winning QB Joe Burrow, it likely isn’t a good sign that they are set to miss two key defenders for the showdown.
