Rod Moore sent Ohio State packing Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor.
The veteran Michigan defensive back intercepted a frantic pass made by Ohio State QB Kyle McCord as the Buckeyes were driving the field. Michigan took over and kneeled out the clock to win its 3rd straight over the Buckeyes.
And following the game Moore told reporters that he told himself he would make a play just before the start of Ohio State’s final drive.
Michigan’s Rod Moore, an Ohio native, on the game-winning INT: “The whole game was personal. Every year, it’s personal for me.” Said before the final series, he told himself he would make the key play or someone else would.

After the play, Moore just kept telling himself “Dang, I just called game.”

The Wolverines are now in excellent shape to reach the College Football Playoff after downing the No. 2 Buckeyes. If Michigan beats Iowa next week for the Big Ten Championship, the Wolverines should be a top 2 seed come playoff time.
