Roman Hemby has been a great piece of the Maryland offense this season. He is leading the team with 681 yards rushing and has taken over the Terps’ backfield.

Hemby has played in all eight games for Maryland this season. The team needed someone to step up after Tayon Fleet-Davis went to the NFL, and Hemby has done just that.

Hemby stated that one thing that has improved in his overall football knowledge, which has allowed him to elevate his game.

“I feel like my football knowledge has grown a lot since I’ve been here. And you know I’ve been able to elevate my game in a lot of ways. Got four more games, hopefully a bowl game. Hopefully we can take it a notch.”

The fanbase has been a big help this season and Hemby wanted to thank them for everything they’ve done so far. Maryland is now bowl eligible after its win over Northwestern and it wouldn’t have been possible without their support.

“I appreciate the Maryland fans,” said Hemby. “I wanna thank them for showing up week in and week out, supporting us. It really means a lot to us.”
