Rome Odunze had high expectations going into his rookie season in 2024.
The former Washington Huskies star was selected by the Chicago Bears in the 1st round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Odunze got off to a slow start, catching just 3 passes for 44 yards in his first 2 NFL games.
However, that all changed in Week 3 when Odunze caught 6 passes for 112 yards and 1 touchdown. That was Odunze’s 1st TD of his NFL career, but there was just one problem- it was also the 1st TD pass of Caleb Williams’ career.
After the game, Odunze was asked who was going to get to keep the ball.
“We’re going to cut it in half. He’ll get the right, I’ll get the left like the Twix factory,” Odunze said. “But nah, I think he’s going to give me this one. He’s going to have plenty in his career, a lot more than me, so he blessed me with this first one.”

Odunze certainly caught plenty of TD passes in college. The star WR caught 24 TD passes over his 4-year career with the Huskies. The young WR hopes to catch plenty more TD passes in his career.
