Rondale Moore’s decision to land at Purdue was head-scratching. The four-star receiver had already committed to Texas and was receiving interest from Ohio State, Alabama and several other elite programs.

Throughout the season, Moore has proven why his decision to go to Purdue was the best fit for him. And it was never more apparent than in the Boilermakers’ 49-20 win over the Buckeyes on Saturday night.

Moore had 12 catches for 170 yards and two touchdowns in the victory and added another 24 rushing yards to his total. He was, by far, the most explosive player on the field.

Sunday morning, he couldn’t help himself. The freshman had to fire off a tweet that indirectly called out his critics for choosing to go to Purdue.

“And they said I was crazy…#BoilerUp” Moore said on Twitter. He also posted a video of his commitment video.

Moore currently leads the B1G in receiving yardage (728 yards) and all-purpose yards (1,259 yards). He also ranks second in receiving touchdowns (seven) and is tied for first in total touchdowns (eight).

The decision to land in West Lafayette certainly wasn’t popular. But it’s paying off for the star freshman.
