The Rose Bowl Game has announced the Hall of Fame Class for this year, and a pair of B1G members have made the list.

Former Michigan State football RB and 1987 All-American Lorenzo White made the list, as did Hugo Bezdek, who coached Penn State from 1918-1929. The Tournament of Roses announced that White and Bezdek, along with Darryl Dunn, and Vince Evans will be inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame as the Class of 2022.

White was a standout RB for Michigan State from 1984-1987, and ran for 4,887 yards in his collegiate career. He was also 4th in Heisman voting in both 1985 and 1987. The Houston Oilers drafted White in the 1st round of the 1988 NFL Draft. White spent 7 seasons with Houston and 1 season with the Cleveland Browns.

As a head coach, Bezdek amassed a 65–30–11 record at Penn State. His teams  went 30 straight games undefeated between 1919 and 1922. Bezdek brought Penn State to the 1923 Rose Bowl Game, which was the first Rose Bowl Game to take place at the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Inductees will be honored on the field during the Rose Bowl Game.
