Russell Wilson booed in return to Seattle in 1st game as Broncos QB

Russell Wilson spent 10 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, but the former Wisconsin quarterback is now calling the signals for the Denver Broncos after being traded in the offseason.
Wilson, of course, won a Super Bowl while with the Seahawks and enjoyed many great memories in the Pacific Northwest, but the relationship between him and the organization began to sour toward the end of his time there.
Still, given his contributions to the team, you’d think he’d receive a warm welcome to Lumen Field as the Broncos open the season against the Seahawks on “Monday Night Football”.
Well, think again.

It’s going to be tough for people to wrap their minds around Russell Wilson playing in a Denver Broncos jersey. But if there’s any appreciation he has toward the people of Seattle, it appears to be one-sided.
