Russell Wilson can see brighter days ahead for Denver Broncos offense

Russell Wilson — the Denver Broncos QB and former Wisconsin star — says he’s always motivated. Regardless of the situation, his mindset is to come in and impress when his number is called upon.
Wilson and the Broncos have struggled to begin the 2022 NFL season. Projected to be a can’t-miss playoff team, Denver is 2-3 and ranks dead-last in red zone offense. The Broncos also rank bottom-5 in points scored (31), first downs (84), and third-down conversions (30.6%).
Still, Wilson said Thursday he’s built for moments of adversity and sees the light at end of the tunnel.
“I’m always motivated,” Wilson said at his press conference. ”And I’m always — to this point in my career, I haven’t necessarily had to be motivated, I’m always there. I think you always want to be great. You always want to be exceptional every time you step on the field. And understand that sometimes that doesn’t always happen. But at the same time, knowing that you’re working for that.“And I think that, for me, I can handle it. I’m built for it. I’m built for the good times and the tough times and we’re going to come on the other end of it.”
