Many thought the Early Signing Period was done and over with and Rutgers’ 2020 class had gotten the signees that were noted.
Rutgers had 16 commitments listed for its 2020 class, but apparently, the class consists of 17 members. The Early Signing Period is indeed over. However, Wesley Bailey, a 3-star 6-foot-5 Canadian defensive lineman who is going to a school in Florida, committed to the Scarlet Knights:

According to nj.com, Bailey actually signed on Friday — the final day of the period. What brought Bailey to Rutgers? Look no further than the team’s newest defensive line coach — Jim Panagos. Panagos, a week ago, was with Minnesota.
Then Greg Schiano took him from the Golden Gophers and he is set to be the defensive line coach at Rutgers in 2020. Bailey has developed a relationship with Panagos, which makes sense, seeing as though Panagos would be his positional coach.
The news may have come late, but it’s good news nonetheless, Scarlet Knight fans.
