Rutgers will rock a new look on the big stage.

The Scarlet Knights announced that they’ll rock new all-black alternates when they take on Maryland at Yankee Stadium on Nov. 4.

The new “Stadium Lights” Adidas threads are all black with red lettering. The back of the jersey even has a state of New Jersey (H/T Rutgers Football):

Rutgers will also have black cleats with scarlet accents.

The all-black concept has been done by Adidas in the B1G. Nebraska had a similar look in 2015 for a game against Northwestern, though those uniforms didn’t have “Nebraska” or “Huskers” anywhere on the jersey.

Will the new look help fuel a neutral-site victory? Rutgers might rock the all-black look for every B1G game if that happens.
