After No. 11 Rutgers was upset by No. 23 Ohio State, Scarlet Knights center Myles Johnson went onto Twitter and criticized Big Ten officials.
He ended up fouling out of the game in the second half which was a big piece to the beginning of Ohio State’s comeback.
Johnson’s tweets were deleted but Eleven Warriors was able to get a screenshot of them before they were gone:
This obviously is not a good look for Johnson even though he was quick to delete the tweets. Rutgers looked flustered during a lot of the second half as head coach Steve Pikiell also received a technical foul.
This was the Scarlet Knights’ first loss of the season as they were outscored 52-30 in that second half. Ron Harper Jr. led them in scoring with 20 points and six rebounds.
We’ll have to see if any discipline comes for Johnson after those tweets. Rutgers has Purdue next up on Tuesday and they will need Johnson if they are to win that game.
