The holiday season is always a time for kindness and caring, and Rutgers football players are taking full advantage of the opportunity to make a difference in the community.
This week, Rutgers has used the holiday season to deliver gifts to local elementary students in the community. They did so by taking part in the annual Teddy Bear Delivery program, as well as delivering hats, coats and gloves to students at the elementary school.
The Scarlet Knights took a lot of pride and joy in the opportunity to give back to the community. Below are some images shared by Rutgers football and linebacker Tyshon Fogg.
Had a great time yesterday giving back to the kids of the Somerset Community Action Program with our annual Teddy Bear delivery. One of our last opportunities of the year to volunteer and have a little fun with some teammates 🧸🎀. #serviceknights #RUathletics #RUFootball pic.twitter.com/mkQNJdx9Gn

It’s always cool to see schools and athletic programs work to give back to the community. And it’s even better to see student-athletes enjoying the opportunity.
Rutgers certainly made the holiday season better for many students in New Jersey this year.
