The Scarlet Knights are honoring Eric LeGrand, who was a former player that ended up becoming paralyzed due to a hit on a kickoff return. On Saturday, Rutgers — at the end of the third quarter — will be honoring him by asking fans to hold up a “52”:
This Saturday, we honor @EricLeGrand52 at the 'We bELieve' game. At the end of the 3rd Quarter, during "Don't Stop Believin,'" all fans in attendance are asked to hold up a "52" for our cameras to be shown on the videoboard. Help us spread the word! 🖐✌️ pic.twitter.com/4fwrvkNt3G
