Dellquan Warren, a 2024 4-star point guard who committed to Rutgers in December, has announced that he’s decommitted from the Scarlet Knights.
Warren, a 6-foot-1, 160-pounder out of Erie (Pa.) Keystone Athletic Academy chose Rutgers over the likes of Pitt, Cincinnati and Ohio State. He also received offers from Alabama, Maryland and Dayton.
Warren’s departure is the latest development for Rutgers after it also lost the likes of Cam Spencer and Baye Ndongo, a decommitment from the Class of 2023. The recruiting class with Warren was ranked No. 2 in the 247Sports team rankings. Warren was the first player to commit to Rutgers in the class of 2024. He was part of a highly-touted recruiting class that included 5-star Ace Bailey and 4-star Lathan Sommerville.
Warren is ranked the No. 74 prospect in the 247Sports class of 2024 and the No. 7 point guard.
