Rutgers basketball is set to host Iowa State transfer guard Jerimiah Williams on an official visit next Monday, July 24.

Williams has been all over the country and still has 2 seasons of eligibility remaining. He originally played for Temple before transferring to Iowa State following the 2021-22 season. However, he never suited up for the Cyclones, missing all of last season with an injury.

He entered the transfer portal on May 4 and committed to Illinois on June 1. Just a few weeks later, Williams was back in the portal for a 3rd time.

When Williams is able to hit the court, he’s proven to be a solid player. During the 2021-22 season, Williams averaged 9.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game, playing an average of 30 minutes each game for the Owls.

The Scarlet Knights have 1 transfer commitment so far this offseason: UMass PG transfer Noah Fernandes.
