Rutgers wide receiver Stanley King announced on Thursday that he’s entering the transfer portal, according to 247Sports.

King was a 3-star prospect out of Woodrow Wilson who initially committed to Louisville before signing with Rutgers. King was a First Team All-State offensive selection by NJ.com and was on the Philadelphia Inquirer’s South Jersey Team of the Decade, according to his Rutgers’ bio page.

The 6-foot-5, 175-pound King is the fourth Rutgers player to enter the transfer portal, joining OL Liam Flite, DB Rani Abdulaziz and P David Broncati.

King didn’t see any action during his time at Rutgers. King redshirted in 2019 and wasn’t used this past season. King has four remaining years of eligibility.

Rutgers finished this season with a 3-6 record under coach Greg Schiano. The three victories are as many as Rutgers had combined in the two previous seasons.
