Ryan Day went to the podium after the disappointing loss to Michigan on Saturday. The Ohio State HC made the case for Ohio State to still be considered for the College Football Playoff.
Day stated that he didn’t think Ohio State was necessarily outmatched during the 2nd half. Day thought that in terms of overall play that wasn’t the case.
“I thought we were in it and we were fighting there at the end,” said Day. “Obviously it got out of control down the stretch, but it’s not like we were outmatched in terms of overall play.”

“If we were able to get a shot in the top four, we’d be a dangerous team,” said Day.
