Ryan Day has led Ohio State to multiple College Football Playoff appearances since taking over as full-time head coach in 2019. Day talked about how much good the Playoff has done for Ohio State on the recruiting trail at Friday’s presser.

Day understands that one of the best recruiting methods is winning. Winning can do football teams a lot of favors in recruiting, and that’s especially true in Columbus. Day stated that players come to Ohio State or Georgia to play in the Playoff.

“The best recruiting is winning,” he said. “You come to Ohio State or Georgia to come play in the CFP. Well, here we are.”

With Ohio sports betting coming at the end of the month, you can pre-register today and get hundreds of dollars in bonus bets to use on the Buckeyes, NFL games and other sports:

Before Day took over, Ohio State reached the Playoff in 2014 and 2016. In 2014, Ohio State won the national championship after beating Oregon. 2022 will be Day’s third time in the Playoff as HC, but it won’t be an easy road for the Buckeyes once again.

Can Day lead Ohio State to the promised land?
