Earlier this week Ohio State star wide receiver Garrett Wilson returned to practice. That’s good news for the Buckeyes fans hoping for his potential return to the field for this weekend’s game with Purdue.
Despite Wilson returning to practice, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day didn’t give a clear indication if he would be back for Saturday.
Ryan Day on wide receiver Garrett Wilson: “He’s had a good week of practice, and we’ll see how he does today.”

Wilson was sidelined during the Buckeyes game against Nebraska with an undisclosed injury. But it appears he is on track to be cleared for the showdown with Purdue.
Wilson’s absence from the game with the Huskers marked the first time in his three seasons at Ohio State that he had not been available for a game, and the Buckeyes total of 26 points was the lowest of the season.
So far this season, through his 8 games Wilson has 43 receptions for 687 yards and 6 touchdowns.
