In last Saturday’s game against Toledo, Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson did not return to the game after sustaining an injury early in the game.

OSU head coach Ryan Day provided details on Henderson’s injury status and if he will be able to play Saturday during a press conference Tuesday.

“It’s a short-term thing (and we’re) expecting him for Saturday (against Wisconsin),” Day said.

Henderson is a 215-pound, 5-foot-10, specimen of a player, and has the stats to prove it. A sophomore running back, Henderson has rushed for 197 yards with 3 touchdowns on his resume for the 2022-23 season.

Last year, as a true freshman he rushed for a total of 1,248 yards and had 15 touchdowns.

With Henderson potentially back on the field for OSU this Saturday, he could help lead a victory for the Buckeyes.

Ohio State will take on Wisconsin in its B1G opener at 7:30 p.m. ET as the Buckeyes hope to continue its unbeaten streak this season.
