Ryan Day talked about Ohio State’s goals in the final 3 games of the regular season.
Ohio State has College Football Playoff aspirations and will try to close out the regular season with an undefeated record to make the Playoff. In order to reach the Playoff, Ohio State will need to win the next 2 games against Indiana and Maryland. If Ohio State can get past Indiana and Maryland, a pivotal matchup against Michigan will have Playoff implications at stake.
"We know what our three goals are… beat TTUN, win the Big Ten Championship and win a National Championship."

It will be part of human nature for Ohio State to look past Indiana and Maryland to prepare early for Michigan, but Day is focused on managing each game. While appearing on Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff, Day answered a question about Ohio State’s mindset with The Game looming in the background:
“We wanted to play our best football in November. We know what our 3 goals are and none of those have been reached,” Day said. “We’ve put ourselves in a position to reach those 3 goals: beat ‘The Team Up North,’ win the B1G Championship, and win the national championship. That’s it. As we keep growing and building, we want to play our best football right here in November. Today, we just have to take the next stride on that journey.”
Ohio State will look to take care of business against Indiana at 12 p.m. ET.
