Ohio State has climbed the ranks recently, settling in at the No. 4 spot. But, for OSU head coach Ryan Day, that’s just not good enough.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Day said that Ohio State is trying to be the best team in college football, which is apparently not normal.

So far, Ohio State hasn’t left much on the table this season. The Buckeyes are 5-0, notching wins against the likes of Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Rutgers. CJ Stroud is generating Heisman buzz, dominating on offense and he is now third in the nation in passing touchdowns this season. Stroud has already picked up 1,376 passing yards as well.

To be the best team in college football and keep their title hopes alive, the Buckeyes will need to win against Michigan State this Saturday in East Lansing.  The Spartans have opened this season 2-3, with losses at Washington, Minnesota, and Maryland. Ohio State has won the last 8 matchups, and Michigan State’s last win over Ohio State at home was in 1999.
