Ryan Day gives a look into upcoming top 5 clash with Notre Dame

Ohio State opens up the season with a game that may determine where this team is headed in 2022. The Buckeyes kick their season off against. No. 5 Notre Dame Saturday, and head Coach Ryan Day admits he is ready to see what kind of team he has this year.
“It’s time to go find out what we got,” Day said. “What a great opportunity for all of us.”

The Buckeyes come into this game as the No. 2 team in the country behind Alabama and a big win Saturday over a top 5 team may move them ahead of the Crimson Tide in the rankings.
A loss, however, may not end the Buckeyes’ season. It does put them behind the 8-ball and necessitates a perfect remainder to the season. Ohio State returns one of the nation’s best offenses and according to some, the best quarterback in the nation in CJ Stroud.
Day talked about Stroud’s impact, saying Stroud proved that he could be counted on last year.
“You can really see his growth as a leader,” Day said.
Expectations are high, the only question is can the Buckeyes live up to those expectations? We all will find out soon.
