Ryan Day hot seat? Ohio State’s coach roasted for 3rd straight loss in The Game

Ryan Day understands his legacy at Ohio State ultimately rests on The Game vs. Michigan. That’s bad news for him following another disastrous outcome in the regular-season finale.

Heading into Week 13, the Buckeyes were riding a 2-game losing streak to the Wolverines and traveled to Ann Arbor for The Game. Michigan entered as a favorite despite missing head coach Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines.

In the end, Michigan held on and delivered an epic 30-24 victory behind acting head coach Sherrone Moore, QB JJ McCarthy and RB Blake Corum. While The Game was tight and hard-fought the entire way to the finish, there is no place for Day to run after a 3-game losing streak to TTUN.

The biggest issue for Day might be how things stacked up for the Buckeyes this time around. With Harbaugh suspended and Michigan embroiled in a sign-stealing investigation, it looked like a prime opportunity for Ohio State to pull off the upset.

After another loss, some fans are left wondering if not now when in regard to The Game. Day is unlikely to be fired immediately, but the heat in Columbus has to be cranked up a bit after this one:
