Ryan Day on Ohio State freshman RB TreVeyon Henderson: ‘He has a chance to be special’

Five-star freshman TreVeyon Henderson arrives at Ohio State with plenty of hype. So far, Ohio State coach Ryan Day has been impressed with what he’s seen from the nation’s No. 1 ranked running back by 247Sports.
Day is extremely pleased with Henderson’s maturity and approach to the game, so much so that he’s confident the Buckeyes could have their next special running back.

During his outstanding high school career, Henderson amassed over 4,000 yards and 50 touchdowns. Henderson was selected as the 2019 Gatorade Virginia Player of the Year and made the USA Today All-USA second team.
Ohio State begins this season with a FOX Thursday primetime matchup at Minnesota on Sept. 2 (8 p.m. EST).
