Ryan Day read the letter that OL Paris Johnson Jr. had in The Players’ Tribune. Day couldn’t have been prouder of Johnson at Friday’s media availability.

Johnson wrote a letter that ended up the in The Players’ Tribune on Thursday talking about his Ohio State career and what led him to Columbus.

Day described Johnson as a tremendous young man.

“Paris Johnson is a tremendous young man. I did read his letter. I think that’s why we get into coaching,” Day said. “To see his growth, what he’s done on and off the field and to see his impact is tremendous.”
