Banks is a 6-foot-1 200-pound senior cornerback who last season for the Buckeyes had 23 total tackles, 6 pass deflections, 1 fumble recovery and 1 touchdown.
The Buckeyes are ranked No. 4 in the AP Top 25 poll, and they are once again the favorites to win the B1G.
The Buckeyes’ defensive backs will need to be ready to go week 1 as they face a talented Minnesota QB in Tanner Morgan and potentially explosive WR Chris Autman-Bell pending an injury update.
