Ohio State is undefeated in Ryan Day’s first full season at the helm.

After a 3-0 record filling in for Urban Meyer to start 2018, Day has led the Buckeyes to a 13-0 record and B1G Championship in his first year as the permanent coach. There’s no denying the talent on Ohio State’s roster. Still, Day has answered every question this season as the Buckeyes have looked dominant all season long.

On Sunday, ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit announced his list of Herbie Awards for the season. When it came to Herbstreit’s Coach of the Year, he had to go with Day’s work with the Buckeyes.

Day adds that Herbie Award to his B1G Coach of the Year selection by the media. That’s definitely one way to make your debut as the head coach at Ohio State.
