Ryan Day says NIL improvements mean Buckeyes are in a ‘better place to compete for some of the bigger guys in the country’

Ryan Day believes all of the supporters of Ohio State, from the city of Columbus and across Ohio should normalize name, image and likeness.
The program has already made strides in that area, and acknowledging that it’s not going anywhere and the fact that it’s a critical part of the Buckeyes’ recruiting is a notable development.
“We have a lot of people who’ve embraced it, and because of that, we’re starting to build some momentum here in recruiting,” he said. “But we’re going to need more and more help, it’s just the way it is. I think we’re going to sign a big class here, which is great, but I also want to sign a quality class, which we’re doing. But I also think we’re in a better place to compete for some of the bigger guys in the country.”

After questions about where OSU stood in the world of Name Image and Likeness, there seems to be a lot of momentum with the program and NIL.
