Ohio State head coach Ryan Day thinks receiver Garrett Wilson has been different since missing the game against Nebraska a couple of weeks ago.
Wilson missed that game against Nebraska due to unknown reasons but came back and was solid as ever against Purdue. In that 59-31 rout, Wilson finished with 10 receptions for 126 yards and 3 touchdowns.
He was his normal self and a big reason why the Buckeyes came away with the win.
When Day spoke to the media on Thursday, he confirmed that he thought Wilson had another great week of practice leading up to this showdown against Michigan State.
Ryan Day says Garrett Wilson had a great week of practice last week – “he didn’t like not playing” against Nebraska – and has had another good week of practice this week.
“He’s had a different look in his eye, and I know he loves playing in big games.”

OSU will need Wilson at his best again if it is to beat MSU. This is a matchup that could decide who gets to Indianapolis next month and the Spartans defense is one of the best in the country.
Wilson has 813 yards and 9 touchdowns on 53 receptions through 10 games and has always been Mr. Reliable for the Bucks.
Kickoff will be at Noon ET on Saturday.
