Ryan Day weighs in on enforcement for NIL violations, current landscape

Ryan Day went to the podium on Early Signing Day and discussed the current NIL landscape. Day believes there should be some more enforcement for NIL violations.

Day stated that he hasn’t seen much in terms of enforcement for NIL violations. There was no indication of what Day was talking about specifically.

Now that players can sign NIL deals with certain companies, things can get a little crazy.

At the end of the day, the Ohio State HC didn’t want to focus on calling out other programs for paying recruits. However, Day noted that there are plenty of things that need to be discussed in that area.

Day understands that with the changing NIL landscape Ohio State needs to adapt. The Buckeyes lost out on a few recruits on Early Signing Day, but Day knows that it comes with the territory.

Day remembers when programs used to not recruit players anymore after they had committed. Those days are long gone.
