We think we’ve seen it all as sports fans. No matter how young or how old, plays and outcomes always surprise us. But there aren’t many things we’ve never seen before.

However, on Saturday, Saint Joseph’s trailed Davidson 76-73 with just a couple seconds remaining in the game. Then, Saint Joseph’s hit a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game to overtime.

Take a look at this three, which was insanely awkward looking thanks to the circumstances of the pass being thrown to the player at the last second, a 3-pointer being needed and exactly where he was on the court:

Ryan Daly got the ball out of his hands after receiving it and essentially chucking it at the basket at the last second. Again, it was awkward. But, it was necessary.

We’d be surprised if this doesn’t land on a top 10 plays list somewhere.
