Sam LaPorta has been a key player for Iowa this season, much like last year. Des Moines Register’s Chad Leistikow posted a picture of the team’s depth chart for Week 13 with LaPorta left off of it.
LaPorta left the game against Minnesota with a leg injury.

The Hawkeyes managed to scrap out a 13-10 win over the Golden Gophers in Week 12, adding to their impressive win streak. Iowa has now won four games in a row.
Kirk Ferentz has found a way to turn things around after a slow start to the season raised questions from many Iowa fans. The Hawkeyes are 7-4 with a chance to end the regular season with eight wins on Friday.
While Iowa is feeling good with seven wins, things have not been the same for Nebraska. After a 2-1 start under interim HC Mickey Joseph the Huskers are now on a five-game losing streak.
We’ll see which coach gets the upper hand this weekend. Nebraska and Iowa meet at Kinnick Stadium at 4 p.m. ET on BTN.
