San Diego State head coach Brady Hoke rakes in prestigious Mountain West honor

Former Michigan coach Brady Hoke is earning recognition for the terrific job he’s done this season with San Diego State.
Hoke was named the Mountain West Coach of the Year for guiding No. 19 San Diego State to an 11-1 record.

Hoke coached at Michigan from 2011-14, with previous time with the Wolverines as a defensive ends coach (1995-96) and defensive line coach (1997-2001). Hoke was the B1G Coach of the Year and Maxwell Football Club Collegiate Coach of the Year in 2011 when Michigan went 11-2.
Hoke also coached at Ball State from 2003-08. Hoke has amassed a 93-77 overall record during his coaching career.
San Diego State’s lone loss came vs. Fresno State on Oct. 30. San Diego State is on a four-game winning streak and will face Utah State in the Mountain West title game on Dec. 4 (3 p.m. EST/FOX).
