San Diego State reveals awesome Aztec-themed helmet for 2021 season

San Diego State might have the best helmet in all of college football this season.
SDSU will reportedly wear this Aztec-themed helmet on Saturday’s in 2021:

That’s certainly up there with the best — and most creative — non-traditional helmets in college football.
The Aztecs have been one of the best Group of 5 programs in the country in recent years. They have four 10+ win seasons since 2015 and have multiple wins over Pac-12 competition. This season, SDSU will again face Pac-12 opponents in Arizona and Utah.
However, SDSU is looking to bounce back from a 4-4 campaign in 2020. The Aztecs suffered losses to San Jose State, Colorado, Nevada and BYU as failed to be above .500 for the first time since 2009.
Fans will be able to see it in action for the first time this year on Sept. 4. as SDSU hosts New Mexico State.
